Praises, glory and honor belong to the Owner and Founder of this ministry, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

THE HISTORY ON HOW REV. VIC C. LUMANGLAS CALLED BY GOD IN THE MINISTRY IN MALAYSIA

JAN. 1989 - MAY 1989

A Bible Study was established at Ground Floor of MayBank in the center of Kuala Lumpur.  Pastor Vic started to share the Gospel, gather Filipinos and encourage them through the sharing of the Word of God.

MAY 13, 1989

After finishing his contract in Manila, Pastor Vic went back home to Batangas City in the Philippines.  His heart’s desire was to go back to Malaysia, and serve GOD there, according to His will for his life.

MAY 1989 - DEC. 1989

Pastor Vic stayed in the JIL Batangas Ministry. He continued to serve the Lord in his home town for a period of nine (9) months. At the same time, he was helping his wife’s small home industry business.

JAN. 1990 - MAR. 1991

Even if Pastor Vic’s desire was to go back to Malaysia, the Lord sent him to Saudi Arabia instead to get more training. This coincided with the Gulf War, where GOD made him experience His mighty power and outpouring of His saving grace. GOD used the Gulf War to lead a lot of people to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Praise the Lord!

MARCH 28, 1991

From the war at the Gulf, Pastor Vic went back home to Batangas City, Philippines

During his one year and three months stay in Saudi Arabia, Pastor Vic's desire was always to go back to Malaysia. Because of this desire, he did not renew his contract in Saudi Arabia, even if the company he was working for offered him a good benefit package. Even without a  new job, Pastor Vic went back home with peace in his heart.  He believed that GOD has a wonderful plan for his life, so he just allowed the Lord to work out this plan in his life.

APRIL 30, 1991

Finally, GOD gave Pastor Vic the opportunity to return to Malaysia. Three days after his arrival from Saudi Arabia, Pastor Vic received a job confirmation in Kuala Lumpur. At last, he was able to return to Malaysia on 30 April 1991.

MAY 25, 1991 - FEB. 23, 1992

It was April 30, 1991, Pastor Vic’s first night back in KL.  While staying overnight at the Holiday Inn City Centre where his company booked him, he continued to pray.

The next day, he moved to his assigned company house at Pangsapuri Bangsar Utama.  He didn’t know any Filipino so he just continued to pray. A few days later, Mr. Tee, a Chinese Malaysian living in the building, informed Pastor Vic that there is another Filipino living in the building.  Pastor Vic immediately introduced himself to Brother Freddie,  Thus, the two of them started  a Bible Study every Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM after attending the morning worship service at Calvary Church in  Damansara Inda. After a month Brother Arnel Magdaleno arrived from his company assignment in Melaka. Pastor Vic shared the Word of God to Brother Arnel who accepted the Lord. Thus the Bible study became a group of three.

After a month, Brother Freddie left for Brunei for another assignment.  Pastor Vic and Brother Arnel had a man to man discipleship, as Timothy was to Paul in the work of the Lord.
